Steph has a MSc in Biology and a Diploma of Environmental Management. She is an experienced Conservation Biologist, having worked with many endangered Australian and New Zealand species. A lifelong traveler (among the first to cross Africa overland by truck in the 1980’s) she finds time to both manage an active lifestyle and be an outstanding mother to Kaelin, Riley, Grace and Nik and a fantastic wife to Tony. Not only does she write a great blog, she is also very photogenic.
Tony is a Geologist with a PhD in Antarctic Glacial Sedimentation. He is fortunate to have spent 4 seasons in the Ross Dependency prior to working as an explorationist and business manager throughout Asia, Australalia and New Zealand. Travel and the outdoors have always been his passion and his many experiences range from a solo motorcycle tour in communist Eastern Europe to rafting the Middle Fork of the Salmon River in Idaho. He is a father to Grace, Nik, Kaelin and Riley and in awe of his wife, Steph.
We are adding to our tally of countries and cultures. Steph is leading on 103 (as she just reminded me) vs Tony’s miserly 87. Who said anything about having competitive natures?
All photography throughout by Steph and Tony (unless otherwise credited).
